Day Four

Day Four:

Lots of training and progression today.  Got my first badge and made it to Azalea town.  Had a couple close calls, and the fight against the Violet City gym's leader's Pidgeotto nearly killed my starter.  I had to chug 6 or 7 potions because the damn thing kept using Roost.  And I was a solid 3 levels under it, so it was scary there for a bit.  I still havent seen Assbutt, I could have sworn you were supposed to fight him after the first gym, but I guess not.  I'm dreading that first meeting as it usually comes out of no where.

In other news I finally evolved Beavis into a Beedrill.  He takes a lot of experience to level now, though, so I don't know if I'm even going to use him.  I almost want to pull Evan out of the Box instead because he's a Poison type and has Intimidate, which owns.  Matt killed an Unown that I could have caught, and Rockette killed a second Zubat.  All in all I'm not too sad about those.

Next time... Slowpoke Well, Gym Badge #2, and a possible Assbutt encounter!
